1. Am I guaranteed a desk?

We have four glass office suites with two desks in each. They cost $1,500/mo each desk.  For our senior members. For our junior members you are leasing a seat. At a table.  For $250/mo

2. Will I have access to a kitchen?

Yes

3. Are there restaurants near the Agora?

Yes, two. Macanda and 6Smith are in the building.

4. Am I guaranteed an internship for Summer 2026?

We are a start-up company. We use a membership model. There will be internships and jobs and mentorships available.  We don’t guarantee anything.  That would be dumb.

5. Am I eligible for a commission if I refer business within the Agora network?

Yes, we use 10% as a guideline for eligible referred business. At our discretion.  Agreed to BEFORE you make the referral.

6. Can I keep my membership after I go back to school or move on to a full time job?

No, we don’t have capacity beyond the 20 junior member seats per season.  However, we make exceptions. 

7. Is there alcohol at The Agora?

There will be alcohol served at our private parties and everyone will be required to provide ID. 

8. Is there food and drink at The Agora?

For dues paying members there are snacks and sodas available. The Fridge and coolers are available for you to store your lunches.  Otherwise we are likely going to have to install a pay soda machine. 

9. Will we have access to the Agora boat?

Sometimes.  And the float plane? No.

10. Will we have electronic access beyond the locked doors?

Yes. From 3pm to 10pm. Monday to Friday.

11. What do we have to do to lose our membership and access card? 

Get drunk, act dumb, violate fair and equitable rules of general human interactions. At our discretion.
